Each year, in the month of May, Iowa Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) and other state partners find ways to appreciate our workforce behind the workforce – OUR IOWA CHILD CARE PROVIDERS. Provider Appreciation Day is a special day in May to recognize child care providers, teachers and other educators of young children everywhere. As Iowa faces a child care crisis the few and mighty child care providers across the state, stay open to ensure families have a place to turn when working in the community.We need your help to celebrate and appreciate our essential workforce.
