Anxiety is a common response to the challenges of adolescence and to all of the additional stresses brought by the pandemic. Have you ever wondered: “What’s going on in there?” when your teen is overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed-out? Are you curious about how and why stress often leads to troubling patterns of thinking and behavior in teens? This presentation will explore new adolescent brain research that has dramatically improved our understanding of stress and how it impacts how they feel, think, and behave specifically related to stress and anxiety.
