Whether you are an educator, family support professional, or child care provider or involved with your community, chances are you have or will encounter a family healing from trauma. Prevent Child Abuse Iowa has partnered with the Iowa Alliance for Healthy Kids to offer communities training and support to access tools created by the Sesame Workshop to address trauma. This workshop will provide a brief overview our partnership with Sesame Street in Communities, an overview of resources related to traumatic experiences, and explore how resources can fit into the efforts already happening to promote healing and safety for children and families in your community.
