Parenting is the hardest job you will ever do and we are here to help! In southeast Iowa there are a number of agencies and organizations working together to provide much needed support to parents of young children, while operating under ever changing community plans guided by the people and communities we serve. You are encouraged to use the “contact us” page of this website to reach out for assistance and we will link you with someone who can help.

Attend an event – throughout the region we help to host programs, workshops and trainings that can be helpful to young families on a variety of topics such as budgeting, parenting, substance abuse awareness, and ACEs. Each spring we host a regional Early Childhood Summit in Mt Pleasant with multiple venues and topics.

Give us input – in 2013 we hosted a regional Parent Summit to learn more about what life is like for families with young children. From that event we formed a Regional Parent Council comprised of parents of young children from the counties of Des Moines, Henry, Lee, Louisa, Van Buren and Washington.
