Burlington Building Bridges

This is a community uniting to impact the futures of our neighbors and friends who are caught trying to survive in the daily struggles of poverty.

All people, especially children, deserve a chance to live “sustainable lives” and sustainable lives lead to sustainable communities. The picture we find in Southeast Iowa today puts that sustainability in danger for both a high percentage of individuals and for our communities as a whole. The Building Bridges initiative is focused on attacking that danger and gives our friends and children a chance to write a “future story”.
