Early childhood development sets the foundation for lifelong learning, behavior, and health. The experiences children have in early childhood shape the brain and the child’s capacity to learn, to get along with others, and to respond to daily stresses and challenges.

The emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct impact on their overall development and the adults they become. That is why it is so important to understand the need to invest in very young children to maximize their future well-being.
