Building relationships in Early Learning and Care programs through Positive Behavior Interventions and Support. Providing resources to all programs serving children from Birth to Five. The SEI EC-PBIS Project supports programs, staff, and families in promoting young children’s healthy social-emotional development skills, such as expressing emotions, cultivating relationships with others and successfully engaging in early care and learning environment.

We are serving the following countries: Des Moines, Henry, Iowa, Jefferson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Van Buren, and Washington.

    Early Childhood PBIS Consultants are available to provide staff with individualized training and coaching-meeting each caregiver where they are, building on strengths, and focusing on goals determined by the caregiver.

Training, Coaching and Behavioral Consultation on the pyramid model

Yes. The SEI EC-PBIS Project aligns with the Iowa Quality 4 Kids System. EC-PBIS benefits programs at every level

No. Coaching is completed face-to-face and fits in your schedule. Behavioral Consultation may occur virtually or at your facility.

No. Although consultation support prior to participation in the EC-PBIS Project is limited.

Training and coaching materials are provided by EC-PBIS. Additional incentives are provided throughout participation in the Project.

No. The EC-PBIS Project will focus on program-wide support to all staff through training and coaching of best practices for working with young children. Everything from the physical environment to course schedules and routines, to the developmentally appropriate curriculum, may be addressed. The EC-PBIS Consultants will tailor their support to fit your program’s needs.
